This past week as I was in Germany for work, I found myself grateful for a lesson that my dad had taught me when I was young. He taught me to drive a stick shift, which at the time I was not thrilled about. However, last week when I went to pickup the rental car that my work had put on hold for me, I was told that it was a manual! Luckily, it turns out that driving stick is like riding a bike, but for a few minutes I was nervous.
What is something your parents made you learn that you are now grateful for?
