Does money equal success?

How are you letting your money control how you measure success? I had a conversation with my brother the other night, during the pandemic his wife discovered art, and has been making beautiful art. She’s had success in selling it and was a featured artist on a river walk in Seattle. It was an amazing opportunity but they were slightly discouraged because they didn’t sell as many paintings as they hoped to.

How many times have you had something really amazing happen to you but let the money, or lack thereof, that came from it, measure your success? We all do it, focusing on something small that slightly spoils the amazing thing that just happened.

Has something like this ever happened to you? I’d love to hear about it in the comments 🙂
